We had an amazing time at the LA Street Food Festival this past weekend! A huge thanks to everyone who stopped by our booth to taste our bánh mì!
We’ve got a full week of stops this week including Santa Monica, North Hollywood and Downtown LA for lunch! Stop by Los Feliz for dinner this week as we hit up Albertson’s on Hillhurst Ave and Price St Wednesday night and 4575 Hollywood Blvd Thursday night!
This Saturday, we are super excited to be a part of the Westside Food Fest at Venice High! The event will be from 12-4pm and it will include a variety of delicious food from 14 food trucks, live music, amazing raffle prizes, a marketplace and a community resource fair. Proceeds will go to help Achievable Foundation, who provides support to low income families and children who have autism and other disabilities. Please come out to support this amazing event on Saturday!
We’re smack in the middle of summer and this heat is insane! Remember to cool down with our vermicelli rice noodle bowls served with a bed of fresh greens and herbs, grilled meat/lemongrass tofu, sliced cucumbers, crispy shallots, crushed peanuts, and our savory traditional or vegan sauce! We are taking Friday off to the prep for the amazing, LA Street Food Festival on Saturday! We will be serving our signature dishes, grilled pork bánh mì and vegan lemongrass tofu bánh mì all day long! This event is not to be missed! For $45, it’s all the amazing street food you can eat, all the tequila you can handle, and all the beer you want, plus so much more! Come spend Saturday at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, and sample some of the best street food in LA!

Wednesday night, we are so honored to have been asked by author Kim Fay to pull the truck up to the launch of her new book, “Communion: A Culinary Journey Through Vietnam”. We will be at Traveler’s Bookcase located at 8375 West Third St so stop by and pick up a copy of the book, meet Kim Fay, get your book signed, and get some traditional Vietnamese bánh mì and bún from us! (Sorry Los Feliz! We’ll be back for dinner next Wednesday!)
Thursday night, we’re joining our buddies from Lomo Arigato down in Gardena at K1 Speed for dinner! It’ll be our first time in Gardena, so stop by and show us some love! Friday night, we’re heading back to beautiful Barnsdall Park for Barnsdall Fridays Wine Tasting at the top of hill! Do a tour of the Hollyhock House, relax with some artisanal wine and bánh mì, and just chill as the weekend is about to begin.
Sunday! Sunday is the first ever LA Flea Market at Dodger Stadium! There’ll be 400 vendors of vintage home decor and furniture, gourmet food trucks, bands and more! You do not want to miss out on this. Come say hey, get some food from us, and get your vintage shopping on.

This time around, we will be mashing up Pura Casta Tequila with our food to make a special item just for that day! Join us, the Grill ‘Em All Truck, Lomo Arigato, Frysmith, Slice Truck, and the brand spankin’ new Tropical Shave Ice Truck on Saturday, 7/3 at the Verdugo Bar in beautiful Glassell Park! Can anyone say margarita shave ice? Oh yes. It’s going to be epic and you do not want to miss this event on Saturday.

The time has come. Street Feast at the Americana at Brand is back again, and we are so happy to have been invited back for round 2! All the food trucks will be parked on the streets of the Americana and will be dishing out delicious food all night long so be sure to get there early because the first Street Feast was bananas! We heard rumors that Coolhaus will be giving out free ice cream sammies and the Laker game will be broadcast on tvs on the lawns of the Americana for Game 6 of the NBA Finals! Remember to print the above image to get free parking!
We’ll be back in North Hollywood for lunch and Los Feliz for dinner on Wednesday, so be sure to stop by as we have a few private gigs this week. The only other time we’ll be out will be on Friday night for Pacific Asia Museum’s Fusion Friday! Saturday! We are so stoked for Saturday! Our good friends at DKE Toys have invited us to roll up for Freeman’s The Vader Project Artist Catalog signing. There will be 30 artists on board (including the über talented Tim Biskup who designed our logo) to sign the 200-plus page, full-color, limited edition catalog that is being produced for the Vader Project auction. Get some food from us, pick up this amazing catalog, meet the artists in person, and get your goods signed by them!
Sunday we will be back at the Verdugo Bar with one of our favorite DJs, Grainshifter of Higher Ground. Beer, beats, and bánh mì! Hell yeah! We’ll be there from 3-8pm so come kick it with us on Sunday.

Saturday! Mobile Mash Up is back! If you didn’t get to join us for round one, check out this video from Arbroath Films that captured the spirit of the first event! This time around, we are teaming up with Eagle Rock Brewery along with Frysmith, Lomo Arigato, the Buttermilk Truck, and the Dainty Cakes LA truck at the Verdugo Bar! Each truck will be mashing up beer from Eagle Rock brewery to create new items just for that day! The last Mobile Mash Up was a blast, so you do not want to miss out on this one!
And Sunday, we’re super excited to head back to Mishka in Echo Park for the 2nd Lunch Truck Day! We’ll be there with the Dosa Truck, Lomo Arigato, and Coolhaus from 12-4! Peruse the shops and boutiques along 1547 Echo Park Ave and get some food and treats from the trucks! See you all then!

We’re heading back to Hollywood, Santa Monica, Pasadena and Silver Lake for lunch this week! We’ll also be making a new stop in Woodland Hills for lunch on Wednesday by Warner Center! We’ll be rolling with the Dainty Cakes Cupcake truck that day so if you’re in the area, come find us!
Tuesday night, catch us at we stop in Echo Park for dinner! Come meet us in front of A Grocery Warehouse, the Vietnamese grocery store. Get your Vietnamese goods from the store and get your dinner from us! We’ll also be at our usual spot in Los Feliz Wednesday night, so roll on through!
